HBSC survey (Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children) across 42 countries n>200,000. ~44% of adolescents report at least one chronic pain symptom weekly; ~25% report multisite pain. Higher in girls, in older adolescents, in low-SES families. Sets the public-health magnitude for paediatric chronic pain.
