Parent management training in Norway: a randomized controlled trial of two programs

Norwegian RCT of PMTO (Patterson's program) vs treatment-as-usual, n=112, ages 4-12 with conduct problems. PMTO produced significantly greater reductions in externalizing behaviour and improvements in parenting practices, sustained at 1 year. Largest non-US replication of PMTO; foundation for national PMTO dissemination in Norway and later Iceland.
